Step 1: Scan your medallion

To scan your medallion, simply open the camera app on your smartphone and point towards the medallion. A link will appear which you can click to open the setup page.

Step 2: Create an account

This account is for you to manage and edit any profiles you may create. This should be in your name and not your loved one's.

1. Begin the process by clicking 'Create Profile'.

2. Create an account for yourself using email and password, or use Google to sign in.

Step 3: Create a public profile

Once signed up, you'll proceed to the next page which will allow you to enter details about your loved one, as well as any images and videos. You can add the following information:

• Name of Loved One - how your loved one's name will be displayed on the profile.

• Bio - the public biography displayed on the profile. Feel free to write as much, or as little, as you like!

• Lived from / to - use the date selectors to specify your loved one's birth date, and date of passing.

• Resting Place - the location of the memorial where you have placed the medallion. You can be as specific, or as vague, as you like.

• Profile Photo - the main photo of your loved one, displayed at the top of each page. Once you have uploaded an image, you'll see a circle which represents the visible part of your photo. Simply drag the circle to move, and drag the arrows in the direction you would like to expand or shrink.

• Profile Banner Image - upload a landscape image to be displayed as a banner across the top of the profile, behind the profile picture.

• Upload Images - add up to 30 images from your photo library to showcase any special moments. Note: If you have already selected any images, clicking 'Choose Files' again will overwrite your current selection. You can add more at any time from Account Settings after the profile has been created.

• YouTube Embed - include a video by uploading it to youtube and pasting the video link in this box. There's no limit on the number of videos you can include, and they don't have to be your own! (Favourite song, etc). To add more, simply click 'Add Another URL'.

Click 'Create Page' to finalise!
